Great topic art, had me scratching my head. If I had been old enough I would have been at a concert a week from '68 to 74!
I did eventually see Steely Dan when they reformed, but would have been brilliant to see them in their heyday.
This song always reminds me of taking the turn down past Santa Monica pier and onto Highway One and seeing the sea stretch out.
On the other end of the scale would be Max's Kansas City.
