That is a fantastic piece of 'art'. As you say, wouldn't really like to knock it against anything too hard!
Visually, I would have preferred if the lugs had been left plain; I can't explain why but they just look a little out of place here. (Immaterial anyway, not going to be on my wrist any time soon!)
I could really imagine it on a desk stand of some sort although that might then amplify the tick of the watch too much, what a dilemma
