Geneva Week 2018 Hands-On: Zenith Pilot Cronometro CP-2 Flyback in Aged Steel and Bronze

 By: Ornatus-Mundi : January 28th, 2018-13:03
One of the immediately likeable and probably instantly selling novelties for the Geneva Week 2018 at Zenith is the new Pilot Cronometro CP-2 Flyback , which comes on two patinised case options, aged steel and aged bronze : As additions to the 'Pilot' coll...

When these were announced...

The aged bronze was an instant hit for me. Now that I see your images, you make a compelling case for the teel version as well. Oh the choices!!!

Take both ;-) [nt]

Steel is the version. Interesting and funny to see an aged case... While most of people want a fresh new case, Zenith goes to the opposite direction.

Not very convinced by this concept... As for the dial, it looks superb. Best, Nicolas

I am still undecided... [nt]

I'm torn between the movements in Zenith CP-2 Flyback and the Zenith Cronometro PuristS 15th Anniversary

As a chronograph enthusiast, I like the idea of a Flyback but the PuristS 15th Anniversary has the modern silicium escapement and rhodium-plated movement. On balance, I think the modern escapement and pretty movement wins.....P15. Regards, MTF

Absolutely great photos of the dials.

But, I'll stick with the P15, much more exclusive.

Love both of these!!

Difficult to choose which but I think the bronze is a winner! Cheers Andrew
