I could not ask for more - except for the size. This kind of design screams already (also in a positive sense). It does not have to be amplified (again) with the 45mm size.
I like it very much. I would consider buying it - but not above 42mm.

love the look of the movement, and the skeletonized dial is very cool. strap seem cool as well, suppose it is swimmable with depth rating of 10 atm? have to see in the metal to judge, but why does it have to be 45mm? i suppose that is what the market is a...
As for the datph rating...
the case says 5 atm (=50m), the case of the Rolling Stones edition does as well, but the technical documentation for the latter states 100m. I guess soem research and inquiry is in order! Cheers (and thanks for the flowers; -)), Magnus

Regarding the size...
Clearly, the El Primero movement is a bit on the small side for the 45mm watch. However, I have the feeling that this diameter is needed for the structrual elements to play. Make the watch smaller, and the harmony would be gone, I fear. It would look cram...

the outer 2 mm of the "dial" are totally blank. They could have been left off with different attachment of the crystal... But 45mm is JCB\'s thing...
I am not sure I agree. I think some free space is needed to balance the other elements and let them shine.
It would be instructive to see a ceteris paribus comparison. In Basel Zenith spread the message that 42mm is 'their place to be'. Let's see! Magnus
Well, I could argue now, we could imagine even more depth on the dial, more details, more aspects to discover
and to admire. So we would need (and justify) 48mm diameter... I think this is the wrong approach... ;-)
I kina struggled with the thin bezel relative to the movement. I played up some variations in PhotoShop and came up with this:
First image is original photo. In the next two images, the bezel is "thickened" and Outer dial (markers etc.) are scaled but registers remain original size. ...
Zenith's execution on this one really hits the mark ...

Case & Dial are spectacular...
I would like to see more depth to the strap. It seems rather flat. Love the use of carbon fiber, but again, too flat. Otherwise, I REALLY like this piece.
