Breguet presents its new Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Automatique with a Grand Feu enamel dial as its first new model of the 2018 collection. Available in either rose gold or platinum.
Watch is a mere 7.45 mm thick (case is 42mm) and the automatic Calibre 581 movement only 3 mm. Power reserve is 80 hours.

Hmm
Patek 5270 had a chin and this does too from 4 o clock to 6 o clock. Dial was designed to fit the movement but doesn't really look good to me.
Not the same at all
Off-center dials were odd to me as well until I started looking at early Breguet designs (by A.L.Breguet himself) and you start to see that off-center minute/hour dials are very much a part of the original Breguet aesthetic. The intersecting circle of the tourbillon adds interest and wouldn't be out of place to A.L.Breguet's eye. It's not at all the same as Patek being unable to cram in everything on a grand complication and having to deviate from their intended look as a result--a flaw which is then fixed in a subsequent iteration. That's not to say that one must like the Breguet, just that it's a whole different kettle of enamel. Maybe a good question is whether the asymmetry looks better with the guilloche dial or the enamel?

I see your point. You make a good one especially on my patek chin vs breguet chin comment. I do think the guilloche dial with power reserve works better even though I generally love enamel dials more.
Breguet's enamel dials are always a clarifying experience versus the baroque effect of the guilloche.
I like both, this enamel really works.

In the context of this watch, I prefer the enamel version compared to the guilloché one
For me, the enamel dial combined with this specific tourbillon (I mean its style) offer a firmly modern timepiece. Maybe it’s not specifically what Breguet collectors look for but here, this combo gives a very nice style especially as this timepiece has a thin case.
In addition, a very subtle detail which gives more dynamism is the slight off centred Breguet hour numerals for me. I like this little detail a lot because the dial layout is more original and unusual.
