We in Singapore, as you recall, were fortunate to have a lecture held by the Sincere Academy on the development of this new technology. I had not seen it in real life nor actually seen it working within a timepiece and this Breguet does look quite good with it. But as mentioned before, I hope that the Silicium parts will not start to replace all the balances and gears found in high end watches.
This is not to say that I do not wish to see it in low cost budget pieces. I would be happy to have a mass produced low/mid ranged watches with movements completely made up of silicon material as it would solve many technical issues as well as provide a longer life and longer period between servicing etc.
BTW I learnt at the lecture that the silicium parts when fabricated are already naturally shining and do not need manual labour to polish. So one can easily image a movement full of purple moving parts with skeletonised base plates.
