Advice needed: Calibre L921.4 in Saxonia Automatik
I'm new to ALS and need some expert advice. I've posted this in another forum but got no reply, I'm looking at buying a Saxonia Automatik 315.032 and found two versions of L921.4 in them (see pics). Do you guys know which one is the latest one and what's reason for the change. Thanks in advance and keep posting more photos of ALS!

I am not sure if you have your models correct because the current Saxonia Automatic does not have a mini rotor and comes with the normal half sized central rotor. In addition, the movement of that watch is the L086.1 and the reference is 380.033 in rose gold. The mini rotor is used in the Saxonia annual calendar with calibre L085.1 in reference 330.025. As far as I know, there has only been one type of Saxonia Annual Calendar since its inception,

Are u referring to the plate
with “als” written on it, where one of the movement is split into 2 with 4 blued screws and another is just 1 whole plate with 3 blued screws?
There was some discussion about this a few years ago...
... but nothing conclusive.
I'm 98% sure that the movement on the left (single piece) is more recent. I say that after comparing various Langematik Perpetual movements. The Langematik Perpetual has been around for much longer than the Annual Calendar and has the same basic movement. The older Langematik Perpetual movements looked like the one on the right, with the small sub-bridge (if that's what it's called) at the top. The movement in every white gold/black dial Langematik Perpetual that I've seen looks like the movement on the left, and that particular model (WG/black dial) was introduced just a few years ago. That's why I think the one on the left is newer (and of course, we could just look at the movement serial numbers too). I wouldn't conclude that the more recent version is necessarily better, though, and I definitely wouldn't let the movement version influence my purchasing decision. Lange may have made the change for some other reason (e.g., perhaps it's just easier to service or manufacture).

For your detailed explanation. Yes I believe the one without sub bridge is the newer version but since I'm new to ALS I just want to get some advice from other ALS fans especially when I'm buying a pre-owned one. Thanks again for your help I really appreciate it.
