The Lang & Heyne is for me the perfect 3 handed watch with a movement that fills up the case back. A hidden gem and great value if one equates price to movement finishing.

which incidentally is in stainless steel!

For a Tuxedo watch with stone dial (aventurine in black in this case), larger the dial is with minimalist indexes volume better the result is,

I was referring to the movement.
But still not sure about the overall diameter of the watch. Proof is in the seeing, of course. Black dials always appear smaller. I look forward to seeing some live pictures, but probably won't have a chance to see it in person.
whatever the size of L&S movements, they are still really nice to be seen ;-)

Lange 1 had perfect proportions, don't fix it if it ain't broken!
These dials may be difficult to make to Lange's spec...
I recall hearing that Lange experienced issues with the 205.086 dial production (the blue "copper"/aventurine/goldstone dials) several years ago. I heard that they weren't able to make as many of these (or perhaps make them as quickly) as hoped, and so production ended up being limited. I don't know if that's why Lange limited the current 211.087 (black flecked dial) to 50 pieces, but it's the first thing that came to mind.
These aventurine dials are pretty cool. I have some older Omegas (from the 1970s) with blue aventurine dials, and they're fun to wear, quite different from a typical dial.
I think the dial is gorgeous but since it is such a limited piece, probably sold out or not easy to get 🤔 🤷♂️

The blue aventurine model two years ago. That piece although gorgeous, the actual piece is abit too feminine for me.
