A. Lange & Söhne

Hi all - Just a quick post.....

I wanted to share with all my fellow PuristS (or now, maybe we are watchpro's?) just how wonderful my wife is.  It was my birthday last week and to celebrate, my wife had a local bakery (DESERTS OF DISTINCTION, WALDWICK, NJ, (201)689-7790) create the ULTIMATE WIS CAKE ever!  I must say that I was a bit confused when my wife asked for the first time in two years of ownership if she could wear my Datograph.  So she left the house one morning with an A. Lange catalog and my watch....here are the results!

What detail....what finish!  This is an actual, edible, yummy and tasty BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!!! 









Just a quick pic of the happy couple!!!!!  I truly love my wife!  She is my best friend and I wouldn't be able to live life without her.  The fact that she also suffers from WIS Syndrom is "icing on the cake"! 





To top it off....she felt the cake just wasnt enough....so she gave me an AP Royal Oak Jumbo with the 2120 movement!  It just doens't get any better than this!!!!

That is the coolest thing!  She must be an amazing woman!

Do you know if they baked it, took it apart and then re-assembled it to make sure everything was perfect?    :)

Next time, take a watch with a brown strap to have a chocolate cake !

Wow!  You sure have a GREAT wife!  An awesome cake on top of a new AP - can't get any better than that :)

I bet you all the guys here are showing your post to their wives / gf's, and saying "Why can't you be like that? :)"  If my wife got me a cake like that, I'd insist that my 1st piece of cake is the section with the blued hands.  LOL :)
