Hi All,
I'm new here. Went through this forum a few days ago and found a photo of the Cabaret with an unusual dial design. Later I found out that it is a Nota Romana edition, introduced in 2003. I sort of like it. Wondering what is the story behind this watch and is it a limited edition? May I ask Lange fellow collectors to shed some light?
Thank you!
HWL

The boss is back and knows
Thanks a lot, Alex!!
Hope to see you soon
Cheers,
Peter
Type "Romana" and select the Lange und Söhne forum and voila!
Although I think the Cabaret is a little smallish (and I prefer round
watches over square/rectangular) I do reallly like the "odd" Nota Romana.

btw, the Cabaret in "my" pictures was originally conceived as a WG Cabaret
with blue dial (.027 ref. number I guess) but my AD requested a re-dial. As
I said I like it a lot!

Peter, Alex and Edwin...million thanks for info and photos. It's unfortunate that the cabaret line is underappreciated by Lange fan otherwise nota romana would have already been a collector / sought-after piece by now. Personally, I like odd (but unique) look of this watch, and would be interested to buy it if I could find one. Rarity demands premium so who knows, it could turn out to be a golden egg at auction somedays.

BTW, wondering if Lange ever include this model in its past year catalogue?
