in particular, yes. It´s a fake watch. Probably US-$ 2 at costs, possibly less.

In general, i´m under the impression the forum will benefit from handlung such questions and threads about fake watches in a different way for the future:

1. Pictures linked to/from websites selling fakes or Lange´s for sub-1K US-$ will be deleted without further notice, which includes all ebay and other auctions site offerings.
This is not a free advertisement zone for fake watch sellers and will not become such.
DO use common sense instead - if it´s a deal too good to be true, it´s most probably rip-off.

2. If you bought your "Lange" from other than an authorized dealer, BEFORE posting questions touching on the authenticy of your watch do have a look at www.lange-soehne.com - if your watch isn´t included, it´s probably not genuine.
If you still believe it´s an authentic Lange watch, DO get in touch with an authorized dealer. Alternatively, send it in to A. Lange & Söhne in Glashuette/Germany, your regional Lange-authorized service center or your local Lange-authorized dealer.
If posting questions on authenticy, DO include a note which Lange-authorized dealer/service center/distributor personally inspected the watch (and yes, i do realize in such cases for 99,99999 percent of inquiring minds the question already is solved).

3. If your "Lange" was less than 1K US-$, it´s a fake.
Sorry to be harsh, but on this side of the known universe authentic und non-incriminated Lange timepieces just don´t go for that money (unless it was cut off the wrist of someone who ended up with a bullet in his head before, which certainly will not make the piece, the seller or the customer more legitimate).

I´m in hope this will help us from being flooded with pictures and threads dealing with fake watches, which is neither fun or instructive.

A rather convincing fake I must add. You need to know what a true Langematik
looks like to see the differences. In the Ebay advertisement the date was
indicating ""33"" which made it easy to discriminate it from a real Lange.
Here is the back view.



While the back bezel mentions ""Glashütte I. SA"" there also was a plate
glued onto the full rotor saying "Swiss Made" (I kid you not!). The plate
fell of the rotor after less then 2 weeks ... you get what you pay for.
