Richard Lange, to be precise. I have never even tried on a A. Lange & Sohne. I have always liked the Lange 1. Just recently I have started researching the various models a bit. One of my favorites is the rose gold black dial 1815 Chronograph, which seems to now be discontinued. The Datos are spectacular. Also like the L1 Timezone. Not sure I like the Grand L1 as much as the regular L1, although the Luminous model seems to work nicely in that range.
But I keep circling back to the Richard Lange. What a beautiful watch.
Great forum here guys. Hope to join you guys soon w/ a piece of my own

Ha,ha,ha Bill,
You make me wondering are you the one who posted the post above, you seems over gentle with me.
As MTF put it,on the picture and on the wrist are totally 2 different story. From reading and hearing are different from you own actual feels.....you old bird should understand this.
Lange TZ,to some may be over busy/complicated on the dial but to other might be a expression of sophistication.I look at it as,to tell time and date are fine just look for the longest hand and the date's window. You hardly need to use the second time zone or world time indicator unless you are a frequent traverlers. The different in this Time zone is ,the second time and home time are able to let you adjust you own, either you prefer the local time to be adjusted in the small second time or vise versa.May be that is why they call it as Time Zone rather than world time or world time GMT.Another feathure is,the user may refer to the city on the world time for the exact time of the city through the small blue hand indicator at the second time dial.
Its a beauty of its own,any way there are no other World time as advance or as unique as this Lange TZ,that's why i pull my trigger on it without second thoughts.See the back its nice too.Look at the gold wheel on the back side.....its rotating flawlessly, enjoy.

Hey bill,
Read the remarks below by Nicolas,Rob you better have others to give way to this Noble House of Horology.
Lange is dancing on the edges of Fine craftmanship of Arts.If you doubt my point, just give it a try put in ou your wrist for sometime, you will be mesmerize by its beauty.(Quoted by Rob). You had it with Paenrai's outrageous outdoor's charm and this will be a different/reverse type of pleasure,my friend.
Hope to see your piece soon,my friend.

Meehna,
Goodday, nice to have an question raised.Just push the pusher for selecting the city, and the time for the city will be indicated on the second time dial/zone.Regarding the pointer, please allow the following pictures,

From the 1st picture, you should able to detect a "Gold" pointer, indicating the city desired on the world time index.Clicking the pusher will have the cities index rotates in clock-wise manner.
And please find two "gold"pointer with blue strip on the main dail and second time dail, those two indicator are for day/night for each dial's time respectiely.
Hope i handled you question properly, please feel free to ask.
Thanks...........

Let me know how you work with it. Hi Meehna,
From your observation on my watch when the pictures were taken! We consider 3.10pm Kuala Lumput time. And look at the 2nd picture,it indicated local time at that time was 3.10 am.ya!Look at the am/pm indicator on both dial.Got it?therefore on the contrary of time,i wll be somewhere in New york/vancover if that is the local time on the main dial at that time.Understand?
this watch allows as to turn the whole thing around.take the upper scenario as an example.if we the turn the main dial to 3.10pm to local time(Kula Lumpur),and we click the pusher pointing at New York city,it will display 3.10 am for second dial(time zone)indicator.Get it?
How i wish you are infront of me,but that is about operating theTimezone. And i would say is the most advance real "world time" you can find in the market.
Happy weekend.
