...I believe the old version LE in Platinum is paritally guilloched in the middle of the dial. I think there is a dealer in town that has the older version LE. Give them a call to make sure and go check it out if you have time. Really, I cant argue with you on the newer version with romans as it is a real stunner too.

although it is VERY similar to the Breguet offering.  The first generation of this piece actually shares the same movement w/ Breguet, if I recalled correctly.   Mine as pictured above, is the second generation version, which is no longer available, unfortunately.    It was indeed available in white gold or platinum and you do see them every now and then in the used markets.   Here's a scan of the current generation model, borrowed from another site:

I will look around for the used market.  Yes, I do like white metal, too.

Can be found for less than the Langematik Perpetual:

made in 2003.  white gold, 38mm.  Also made in yellow, rose and platinum.  Skeleton dial also available for the PT case.

the version in the picture is now discontinued and replaced with a larger version that can be found on the AP website.
