What is that that I glimpse?

Ladies and Gentlemen, the KING & QUEEN.

Now, I know alot of you thought I would be receiving my Zeitwerk, but how could I call that the Queen? The Queen thus refers to this year's Little Lange 1 Soiree which I bought for my dearest mother! ( her 3rd Soiree from me btw)

Stephen, major congrats on scoring the first RL PLM off the fabled factories of ALS. This piece is indeed a beauty. Thanks for taking us along on this journey. I also love the Soiree you got for you mum. What were the other colors you got for her if you feel inclined to share? Anyway, congrats again and look forward to hearing more of your journeys with this watch and other incoming ones in the near future.

The 1st piece I got for mom was the WG little Lange 1 Soiree with black MOP dial, which I unfortunately have not photos of.

The 2nd piece was this,

 

Which was the Soiree from last year, and the 3rd was what I got today! The Little Lange 1 Soiree moonphase!

Because my mom knows her boy loves dark blue the most, I hope that this highly "midnight" piece will be a physical reminder to her of how much i love her, when i'm not with her.

I will share my stories when and as they come, in the meantime, take cares!

Your offer of steak in Tokyo is very tempting.  But my wife and I are off to Capri, Italy for 10 days of relaxation on Wednesday.

And wouldn't you know it?  According to the Lange site, there is an AD right near my hotel!  Do I follow trouble or does trouble follow me?

That will add fun and temptation to my trip.

The NY Yankee legend Mickey Mantle had the number 7 (which is now retired from active use).  #7 is a very special number.

Lol, well just have a visit to that AD, and have a browse, and be reminder of the perfection that lies in each Lange timepiece.

I will be enjoying my PLM for sure in the weeks to come! And beyond!

I know that #7 holds a special place in the hearts and cultures of many, be it Western or Asian.

For me, it if the ULTIMATE.

I asked if the King was the Turbograph because I mistaken the Platinum Richard Lange you post below as the RL PLM. They both look pretty similar, that's why.

They may look similar, but are highly different, in terms of movement and such.

In the coming weeks I hope to do a comparison of them both, and will update the forum on the results.

This watch is stunning my friend, i know i own it, but i'm just dying to say it and re assert it once again, IT IS STUNNING.

Fine, but I would settle for the Langes, with the PLM on your own special strap at some of those Japanese restaurants.

If Paradise is like this, why rush getting there?

Wow... enamel dial is understated yet greatly bold, and entire work is truely superb. Movement / finishing is simply the best.

So I noticed your initial ST on the balance bridge. It is so cool... Very nicely done by the Master Engraver. I bet you can spend hour and hour just gazing at it and proudly smile. Enjoy!

Yes, it is a beauty, and because it is camouflaged with the surrounding floral patterns, it's very discreet.

I even asked Ms Fujimoto to try to spot it but she coulnd't even see it!

So the test works even in reality!

Tokyo is having weird weather recently, one day 35 degrees, the next day 20, and rain stop rain stop, so many people are sick, but you are right, i intend to stay home this weekend and enjoy it to the fullest!
