I can't resist posting this. It is 100% true and accurate. ..unless my eyes saw YG instead of RG. I read a post from 2008 september from Dje asking if Eastwood owns a Lange. Apologies Dje, I just came across the post, and I am almost 1 year late.
I saw this with my own eyes, but I have no pictures.
Did anyone take any pictures of Eastwood in LA? Or better yet, come across pictures of him with the watch?
When the book "American Rebel, the Life of Clint Eastwood" is released on Oct 2009, he will be wearing a different watch...but the Lange 1 is Eastwood's personal property.
Hope this helps..for trivial pursuit fans.

I agree. Last week Clint Eastwood was on the Ellen DeGeneres show. It was an older show because the the movie Gran Torino was not yet released. And there it was, larger than life - a Lange Watch. I suspected the Lange 1, but was not sure. But it was surely a Lange.
If you check the Lange website, and go to the news section, there is an Hollywood article and pciture of Eastwood at a Lange event.
BTW, here's the Larry Dickman reference. In a documentary about Don Rickles, Eastwood stated that he would sign into a hotel using the name Larry Dickman, so no one would know that it was him. That cracks me up.
I feel that I brought you the Hollywood Minute!
Best regards - Mark
PS - why do you say that he will be wearing a different watch in the forthcoming book?
And quite a few other Hollywood starts as well.

He also wore this to the AFI awards. Same watch.
