I just received a loupe and book from ALS today! I previously sent them a message about my passion for fine timepieces and their brand and I guess it paid off 
I don't have my camera with me right now, but whenever I get it, I'll post pictures. It's wood with a gold? ring around the lens. It's the color of gold but I doubt they'd just send that to me, considering I don't even own one of their pieces. Very cool!

My goal is to obtain my first watch by the time I graduate high school, so I've got two years.

I really wish they hadn't discontinued some of their Saxonia collection. I absolutely loved the black dialed manual-wind Saxonia with white gold. For my first watch, I'm trying to save up about 10-15k, seeing that that's the amount I'd need to purchase one with an in-house movement and clear case back. Because of that limit, unless I could find that one Saxonia I had been looking into, I would most likely go with Glashutte Original for my first watch. For GO, I've been eyeing both the PanoInverse and the PanomaticLunar.
If price wasn't a restriction, heck I'd love to own an ALS Striking Zeitwerk, Datograph, and Double Split.

Got a loupe!
I registered my Lange watch with them and casually asked if I could purchase a loupe from them, and they sent me one gratis! I also got a copy of Walter Lange's memoirs, which I'm very excited to read. My loupe has a stainless steel rim instead of the gold rim and uses a much darker color wood. It's very elegant. It also matches my platinum watch... not sure if that was planned or random.
I'm enjoying the new gift very much! I love Lange's service!

I think' I've seen the one you're talking about before. Still post pics! It sounds similar to when I asked Girard Perregaux about their book and how much it cost, and, what do you know, they sent me one for free! This was way back and a huge surprise as I was merely curious. Enjoy the loupe as I have enjoyed mine! It's awesome
