When was the sapphire case back introduced in the Lange 1?
Would someone please confirm in which year ALS replaced the solid case back of the Lange 1 with the sapphire crystal one?
Any additional info on this subject is appreciated.

I believe 1995-96...
See the price list below, from 1995-96. That appears to be the transition year. You can see the two reference number options (1 solid caseback, 1 sapphire caseback) for the Lange 1 models.
