As the blue steel version is having so much attention, I thaught the Rose Gold black version at least deserved some pictures...
Love the blue version as well, but wisely decided (on behalf of my bank account and wallet) to be happy enough with this beauty

Great watch in both combinations / whether blue and steel or rose gold and black! Possibly a bit more formal this way but soooo appealing 
This red gold version
is also stunningly beautiful! It has a more vintage and warmer look with the cream colored lume. The steel version has white lume which has a cool and more modern feel.
When Jerome was in Singapore late last year and when we ordered the steel version in Singapore, some collector friends of mine wanted the red gold version and was told by Montblanc Singapore they could only be on the waiting list as they are all accounted for!

That is hardly second fiddle to the steel.
In fact, we could easily argue it is a much better value, as the up-charge over steel is very reasonable.
I wanted mine for more every day use, and the blue / steel suits that bill. But this black dial is gorgeous, and the vintage color numerals suit it very well.

Some collectors in Singapore wanted this red gold version during the event when Jerome was here (same time I ordered my steel blue dial version). The steel version was still available for order but the red gold version was already on a waiting list basis!
I think the red gold version will be sold out first! (Also because it was launched a few weeks or 2 months roughly before the steel version)
Many collectors during the event did point out the relatively small difference in price
