One supposition: this timepiece displays three types of time (home, local and world time). Maybe these three arrows are the symbol of these three different time? My two cents

I love this watch!
it is Montblanc showing off its technical prowess and fine finishing with the assistance of the Minerva watchmakers. If only they could miraculously compress their movements and make more wearable masterpieces. 
It is true that it is a big watch. But when you see things like that and some exquisite details... I will come back to one of them. [nt]

One of my favorite Villerets from Montblanc
I remember seeing this for the very first time in Watches and Wonders Hong Kong.
White gold, aventurine dial. The second edition after the rose gold version which came out a year before.
