Just a quick shot about two amazing pieces you will easily recognized.

If the other watch wasn't a J*D, I would have deleted this post!
Just kidding of course.
But J*D under Emch was "love at first sight" for me especially the Grande Seconde series and their EOT.
Out of these two the Rieussec is the winner for me, more balanced dial.

I like sub-dials on watches (and hence I like chronos and calendar watches with sub-dials). So yes, I do like circles!

I think J.D. is a very successful brand in terms of
creating and maintaining the DNA. Almost every watch made by the brand can be easily recognized.
Overlapping circles are powerful.
Especially, when set inside another circle
