I like these "Week of the Year" displays
It's very rare in North America where that particular date scheme isn't too important in the corporate world; not like in Germany, etc.

These weekly calendars have a captivating effect . . .
. . . similar to that of a perpetual. There was a striking blue dial version, if memory serves correct.
Also, another manufacturer (Nivrel?) produced similar complications, possibly without the power reserve indicator.

The complication of the Senator Calendar Week produces the same effect . . .
. . . of the Mühle and Nivrel weekly complications in digital form. It's a hugely complex undertaking, requiring more parts than a perpetual calendar, not to mention a centrifugal brake which modulates the final turnover from 52 (or 53) back to 01.
A complication for those who appreciate mechanics, for sure!

Omega Cosmic. A poor man´s Padellone which I feel has a similar charme and quality and of course at a small fraction of cost.
A very rare watch to find down here I love this model which have been looking after a long time. This one has a restored dial and I hope to find a better dial to replace it soon.

In case of indecision, go and see them, take pictures of them, put them as a wall paper on
your computer screen and at the end of a month, OR you will get rid, OR there is one which will be your fav.
Since you have this Blancpain, A Lange One seems to be less " redundant ", I think.
