Here are my wrist shot picks.
First, may I say a very Merry Christmas to all PuristS and their families and everyone sharing the Holiday with them. And Happy, Happy Holidays to all the PuristS who celebrate in a different way.
Honorable mention goes to Robin’s Breguet Marine-we hardly see this watch posted here so the award is given to get Robin, and anyone else with one, to start posting more photos of this one. Understood, Marine Owners?!
Third place: Baron’s Rolex ref. 6200, a vintage gem shown to great effect on Joe’s lovely wrist. Congratulations, Baron!
Second place: Baron’s Sea-dweller, shown to even greater effect on that same wrist, I’m thinking. (As an aside-Baron had actually had this competition won with this photo, for all of 3 hours and 57 minutes, until…)
And the winner: Raymond_S’ Vintage 45 Big Date / Moon Phase. This picture popped off my computer screen and screamed “PICK ME!”. I put up no resistance.

Here are my results for this weekend's static shot:
It was an honor to choose from fantastic static pictures on this wonderful holiday weekend. As usual all the PuristS watches were delicious to savor and it is a regret that I could not see them in the real.
3rd place: SF's picture of the Rolex 1675 on the rock with the town background. A great evocation of the qualities of the 1675 to be tasteful in any setting.
2nd place: Nilomis' awesome Extreme Lab II Blue on the Jaegar LeCoultre watch box. He captures the coolness of the titanium and blue accents at a great angle to reveal the hidden beauty of this rugged watch.
1st: Abel's timeless LeCoultre E2644 blue dial chronograph on the wood background. The great details of the bark highlight how nature grows beautiful with age and it emphasizes too how this vintage LeCoultre becomes even more attractive to us now.

Please excuse the delay in sending my answers. Maybe it is finally time for MichaelC to purchase an alarm watch like the Sonata so I could remind myself!
OK, considering the unique Christmas theme, and the sincerity of the replies, I have a few pieces that are quite relevant.
First is crowncomfort's Girard Perregaux High Frequency. I believe this is a watch you would really enjoy.
Moving in a different direction, I thought it was commendable of Alkiro to offer you Mitch's Romain Gauthier Logical One. I hear this Alkiro is a nice guy, yet no reply from Mitch about it! I think this one strikes the horological madness we all desire.
And for the winning present...
I have to choose Abel's LeCoultre chronograph. Why? 2 reasons. The first is his honest confession about how he hopes you join him with this one. I almost sense guilt that he gets to keep his own watch instead of sending it to you! That is real holiday spirit from our dear member and friend. Very well done, Abel.
Second, the watch is your brand, the watch is your preferred speed. And it is utterly gorgeous. Would a watch like this from a friend mean everything in the world? I think so.
Thanks to everyone for sharing so many superb pieces. The decision is never an easy one!
