I like to take the opportunity to thank you all for joining the WristScan week after week.
A highlight of each week, marking that the weekend is around the corner!
So, for our last WristScan in 2016, please come join in and show us your New Year’s watch!
My choice; Girard-Perregaux Original 1945 (still hunting to get me a Vintage 1945).
This 70+ years old lady still holds her charm!

I enjoy seeing my perpetual to switch, as I did last year.
Last year was a white dialed Portugieser Perpetual Calendar (gone) and this year I plan to wear the Portugieser Perpetual Calendar blue dialed.
This will happen, if I don't melt because we are facing an extreme heat weave.
Here's the watch.

Like Nilo I am wearing an IWC perpetual
Unlike Unlike Nilo, we are not having a heat wave. Even though it's been cold and rainy this past week, I was able to get a few minutes of sunshine to look at our scruffy little herb garden which my wife has nurtured in plastic recycling crates. Most of these plants are volunteers - we throw clipping and old garlic heads and soft potatoes into the soil.
I am glad to see that in both southern and northern hemispheres, both of our IWC watches are showing no moon tonight!
Paying no attention to the drama and politics of 2016, the tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, oregano, basil and garlic are producing as always.
