It's a '44 ref 2242 with an uncommon . . .
. . . 18 jewel 30T2SC movement.
The standard version - which accounted for 99% of production - has 16 jewels. Omega offered to upgrade the movement to 18 jewels; two customers - the Brazilian agent and the RCAF - took them up on it.
The additional jewels are in the bridge and plate supporting the center wheel.
Unusually, they are not ruby red - they're clear.

16 jewels and 18 jewels, that is rigth, but I think I remember something from a upgrade to 21 or 23 jewels also, may be the Chronometer version of 30 T2 or Chronometer de competition? [nt]

I'm lost, Walter; the 30T2SCrg had 16 jewels . . .
. . . and interestingly enough,30T2rg (subsidiary seconds) movements . . .
. . . had 17, but don't recall jewel counts over 18 in any 30 movement. I'll have to check my sources.

Just arrived from the Austrian Alps with a short
layover in Pennsylvania. The Felix is a beautiful Chronograph and the strap is the most comfortable leather I
