My dearest friends!
I have got the immense pleasure to host this week's round of WristScan, with the theme "Recognition".
The theme was in my head, because of the movie "Behind the candelabra", a movie about Liberace's life, where Michael Douglas plays him.
A very tranquil movie, easy to follow, where Liberace is saying why he needed all the glamour: only to be recognised, only to be noticed!
Recognition for this round is ment in the sense: what watch do you wear to reveal yourself to others as a colector, a watch lover?
What is your first pick to go to an AD and to show there that you are a man of knowledge in watches?
I would like to stretch the theme also to show off pieces, pieces that you deliberately choose to show off, to make a big impression on others!

Two entries
For deep knowledge I will enter my Langematik Sax-O-Mat that I purchased in 1998 and which is still with me. The reason is that this watch was presented to me in the end of 1997 by Mr. Lange and Mr. Blümlein during one of their events and I guess I was one of the first in the world to order it.
For showing off at fancy locations (like Las Vegas casinos) I take my Casio MRG
