Theme for WS edition of next weekend starting Friday 25th will be: "Landmarks & Watches"...

Hello dear friends.

I´ll have the pleasure of hosting next weekend WS event and I felt that among those who are fond of taking photographs of their watches it is very popular to shoot them against a background including a building or place which can be used to judge where they are: a Landmark.

So I will be asking our participants to share with us their watch shots depicting a landmark in their own countries or in other places visited abroad. I look forward to view a pictorial travel around the world in company of our favorite watches.

As usual we will have two categories and you may submit pictures for any of them or both: "Best wrist shot" and "Best static shot" and an special category "Best Watch of the Week" will be chosen among all pictures received.

Please wait for my opening post next around noon of next Friday to begin posting your entries.

A landmark of Buenos Aires city: the Obelisk commemorative of 400 years of the foundation of our city celebrated in 1936.

Much smaller than the 169 meters height of the Washington obelisk our version with its 67 meters height is a local icon and landmark.

Hi Abel, you are funny (no offense),

you are using my personal pic from 2012 here in this post.

I mean the pic with the JLC Reverso Tribute to 1931 rouge.

It is a wonderful watch and I have wonderful memories of the time concerning this pic.

Hello Bernd. No offense of course. I take your words about me being funny as a compliment. I feel we will view many shots of watches against the Tour Eiffel this weekend.

Guess I´m not very creative with this shot. But do you seriously mean this is your shot?

Can´t understand how your shot could end in my HD. I feel a bit confused.

In any case, you may find my original post of September 29th 2012 when I posted this (my) shot for first time just a few days after taking delivery of my watch at the Milano Boutique.

First of all, thank you very much for your answer and your understanding in connection with my post. I was in Budapest at the World Championships in Athletics for the last few days and therefore could not answer immediately. Here's the picture I was talking about - see the amazing resemblance for yourself - it was just 2012.

Curiously enough both yours and mine shots were taken in Paris in same year.
Well... Tour Eiffel is such an icon and popular spot in Paris that I can´t guess how many other shots of a Red Reverso have probably been shot there in that year Lol!
What I´m sure is that I had shoot myself many shots of different watches having the old big tower behind. Such a lovely place! And a well known landmark of this lovely city.
