... WT example. I have been very tempted to buy it several times but by one reason or another is still in my wish list.
Tissot made a great tribute to the original model here, and it has a small detail that I love: still includes my city Buenos Aires among the city names. Most other brands (e.g. Patek among them) has chosen to delete us in their modern WTs. Lol!
Now, regarding your beautiful Heuer Bund chrono... odds are 0... or as demonstrated here "almost" 0!! Just awesome!! This makes this watch a keeper for life IMHO.

Maybe I’ll catch the original version from the 50’s one day ?

Hi Again Ludi! To own the original vintage watch of…
… the Tissot WT model you own would give you a completely different experience I feel as the vintage offers the charm of a smaller case and the patina of Time. It would be a very interesting addition I think.
World Timers are romantic watches which invite to daydream with travels to far and exotic places. I love them and have several in my collection.
GMT watches are also Travel Watches but completely different: more practical I feel and tool watches.
I also love GMTs and own several too.
One of them is a Heuer but of different reference. Heuer GMTs are rugged tool watches. Mine was originally issued to pilots of Fuerza Aérea Argentina.
So they should stand rigorous treatment of military personnel.
Yours is a beautiful example!

Same story with one of my pals who let go of his new '05 Seamaster 300 . . .
. . . after a few years of ownership, then bought it back from the third owner after an absence of several years.
How did he know it was the very same SM? By the scratch inflicted crashing against a rock while surfing off of Ventura.

Then the watch was offered to me but as I knew my friend was considering the purchase I refused it.
Then my friend asked my opinion whether he should buy it or not.
I answered: I love the watch and I suggest you buy it.
And added: to be honest with you, if you don’t buy it I will! Hahaha.
Following day my friend went to the shop and bought it !!
I was really happy for him though I missed the watch for my collection.
I sincerely hope you won’t let this beautiful watch go!!
By the way: do you collect stamps?

Endearing story!! I love instances where the sequence of events is as remarkable as it was in that epilogue =)
I don't collect stamps simply because I moved close to 20 times in fifteen years, and it would be impossible for me to carry around large books (of any kind, including stamps) from one place to another, I've donated hundreds of books, but I greatly admire historical and interesting stamps, these ones on a piece of mail from Monaco were a particular delight, and I relished the opportunity to incorporate the envelope into a static shot of the Sun-Moon ........

I used to collect stamps when I was young. That was many decades ago regret to say. Lol!
It’s a very interesting hobby indeed.
Monaco has issued wonderful stamp series in the past.

You hit the nail on the proverbial head!
One of my main objectives, for as long as I've been buying and selling expensive watches, has been to keep the ones I have as diversified as I conceivably can! To each their own, but I've never really understood people who have multiple versions of the same watch! Perhaps because I've never considered myself a collector, despite having had about a dozen high end watches in total, and/or perhaps I'm too humble/frugal to spend money on watches I wouldn't frequently wear, but that's something I've always stayed true to. Thus, I wholeheartedly appreciate you pointing out the stark difference between the two pieces.... I have to say, if I end up getting the Septantieme, the Sun-Moon will have to leave following my well established logic 😊🙏. Cheers, Filip
