Just for fun!

A real favorite of mine....

Since my recent chronograph thread, I have been wearing this manual wind Zenith Prime and timing every interval I can think of.
Just in case you were wondering, this post took 1 min 27.6 sec to type and the image 46.2 sec to upload.
Have a great weekend everyone…
Andrew

Too kind, Geo.
From the frame you can see that I discovered Photoshop 3 days ago. So much to play with. Hope my photos can improve to do the watches justice.
Andrew
Thanks DB,
Perhaps the automatic El Primero is a little more iconic, but I love the manual wind Prime and the uninterupted view of the movement.
I remember when you got your chrono and it's great to have an everyday watch that is a little unusual. The hour and minute hands give it an old world touch.

Andrew, the legibility and overal design of that dial is very nice. Clearly tells time, clearly operates as a chronograph. Top-shelf piece.

Funny you should say that, Tom, because I am planning a thread on legibility. I need to get some more photos together, but watch out for the thread on HoMe.
Andrew

Great photos, Drew. I keep thinking about the BP but I need to figure out which version. I like yours a lot. It fits you well.
In honor of your beefcake photo, here's another big watch for the weekend.

Cheers,

... I see we're sporting the "big guns" today in the wristscan thread....

...among the BP, the Portuguese and the Ingenieur 7-days. It is tough to choose just one. But I do like your Portuguese a lot.

I was also trying to decide between the BP and Port but ended up going with the port…the white/silver dial, blue indexes and hands just put me into a spell,I could'nt stop thinking about it untill I bought it and took it home.
Your "wrist" shot was inspirational. I can't compete, though. :-(
Yes, I might be heading in the same direction. There is something about that combination of dial, hands, applied numbers that I really love. The only thing that sways me to the BP is the oversized crown. And lately I have discovered the Ingenieur, which adds to the mix. Well, it's a nice decision to ponder...

...and THE LIST is full of Sirens' calls. I must remain focused, but there are always so many nice shiny new watches...
