Funny but true.
Best, my friend.

Had it since forever… or at least 7 years…
Usually one of my summer watches (on a rubber strap).
But this summer she didn’t came out to play at all…
I have many times thought that maybe let her go for something else.
But every time I take her out and put her on my wrist I change my mind…

To be honest, the only brand I feel I can say that I have made a journey in would be JLC.
All other brands I might been sniffing around but never taking a trip…!
I really like the base models of Panerai, as you know I like clean dials.
What could be more clean then a base LM or a Radomir?
But to answer your question; No, not much anyway…

I'd like to see more and learn more about that one.
The group shot is lovely.

An ideal companion for Holidays!
Best,
Nicolas.
Great shoy of the RO and it's hard to believe that watch and design was so far ahead of its' time.
Certainly looks great today, though!

The Octa RdM is still on my wrist, but at least I can show you a photo you haven't seen.
The darn thing is just so perfectly weighted and sized and comfortable. I don't even want to take it off in the evenings.

... the other half lacks that whirligig tourbillon thingummy.
But the unanswerable question at the moment is: would I wear a Tourbillon Souverain all the time, or would it be too 'special'?
And it's really too early to tell if this is the watch. But I have a relationship with this piece like no other. It will certainly be a story in the making for future posts.

I just got around to re-reading my first post back in 2005 and I see that I had written:
"Now I just to save up for the other watches that stole my heart in Singapore: the Lange 1815 Chronograph (the movement reminds me of my Grandfathers pocket watch) and the FP Journe Octa Reserve."
I didn't realize that the Octa RdM had made an impression on me all that time ago. At least I am consistent!
