... this Thursday evening here, i attended a JLC SIHH preview... finally managed to see and try many beautiful timepieces, of course including three models that i like most, i.e. Reverso TT 1931, DSA and MUT Moon.

luckily took a wrist shot for this superb classic Reverso which helps me carry on this beautiful mood to this Friday.

strictly speaking, understand that this wrist shot cannot be considered and qualified for this Friday WristScan because it was taken on Thursday, but the beautiful imagine of this watch has already been injected in my mind since at time of wearing it on my wrist till Friday and likely to next week

.... i remember you was putting another Nato strap for your LLD.. then i wen to look for similar one for my LLD too. now you got another nicer one... can't catch up from you :-(

by the way, this strap also looks very nice for your LLD on your wrist. well done!

i dont like the buckle and extra strapping on the side so i've devised a way to wear it that cures the problem. hard to explain, but effectively you dont put the strap through the spare bit with the loop on, you turn that back on itself so it next to the buckle then put the strap through it and buckle at same time. it means you can move the watch around the strap and put the buckle where you want it.

of a static shot I promised to send to Nicolas, from our time at SIHH. A not often seen Le Coultre with the Memovox alarm. This watch has been repaired several times, still running strong. I actually do not know the date of manufacture, a real work horse.

i love to take random pics of the watches i am wearing whilst having a cuppa. gives me time to reflect on time pieces new and old worn that day, and its relevance to my current collection, and refreshes my memory on its acquisition and for me to once again admire the workmanship(or the lack or it in some cases).

Mutton curry, perfect with pita bread or french loaf. the layer of oil coats the rough dough and the curry permeates it....oh la la. have to be careful...i have dunk my watches in coffee and curry before whilst attempting photos!

still havent had time to learn how to use new camera, so still using blackberry for now.

Perhaps not, but a VH Antiqua perched precariously across a mutton curry is rather frightening!

Another superb watch. On my list since 2004, although I'm not sure I would actually wear it regularly and my taste has shifted away from exotica and 'statement' pieces to more wearable watches, at least for me. Still love it though, particularly in RG.
