. . . a gift to Dad from his eldest brother, which he wore daily for ~ nine years until he had it serviced in the UK in '65. He switched to a Seiko Sea Lion for everyday wear, and saved the Longines for special occasions.

. . . it was powered up and on my wrist for about four hours yesterday; after ~ 18 hours on the dresser, it's lost five seconds.
Not bad for a 55 year old watch that gets very little wrist time . . .
