I know that this watch is not that popular here but what I can do?

I like it. I know that the movement is pedestrian but I love the macho look, even with 42mm.

Let's see the pictures:

1) Wrist shot. I put a very thick leather strap (The bracelet is too shiny). Very comfortable.

2) Water resistance "test" (it was with rubber band)

3) A B&W version

I sometimes worry about community pressures and 'norms'.

It is great to see and don't ever feel uncomfortable about a watch you love.

It's a chunky, legible, serious, sporty, no-nonsense diver and looks great in your photos.

In special to watches.

Sometimes I succeed by persuading my friends about a brand, sometimes I fail.

My most recent victory was when I acquired a Girard Perregaux and all my friends disagree.

Later they started paying attention to the brand and GP is in high demand on our group.

BTW: The pedestrian ETA that powers my Superocean is showing, day by day, a precision that was only obtained by much more horological famous movements.

Nilo. I must say that i am not a big fan of some of the Breitling designs (save the Navitimer family) and the Transocean, but this one is really, really cool!

it looks wonderful on your wrist Nilo

normally I chime with the "oh-no Breitling" chorus.
I think this is the first Breitling I've seen where my first reaction was, nice watch.
And when I look a little closer I think I really like it.
Maybe even enough reason to stop by the Breitling stand at Basel next year to see one live!

My Breitling or should I say "No Breitling" reaction may be derived from those steel with touches of gold that they produced during the 90's.

Recently they produced a very nice in house chrono movement and this Superocean exudes good design and amazing quality.

As I type I'm wearing it and it "dresses" great.

I agree with you there Nilo.
I really like Breitlings, but i absolutely hate the Chronomat with its gold bits on the bezel.
