Bulgari

Hi,
I would like to buy my first Bulgari but I have no idea whether it's a fake or not. The guy who is selling it lives 200km far from me. So I would prefer to know before driving 200km to go in a jewellery that tells me it's a fake and have to get back home!
The one I might buy is on the left (on the right is a fake one. It's tough to see the difference except the color of the date but the left one might be a fake 1.01 as well!).

I knew the one on the right is fake because I took the picture on a website selling fake watches. I copied/pasted this picture to compare with the one I wanted to buy.

Have you actually held a real one vs a fake one to compare the subtle differences that might deceive the novice eye?

....buy a watch off the internet unless it was directly from the brand website or an authorized dealer/site with a good reputation. It's just not worth the risk in my opinion when you are spending your hard earned money. Good luck!

Agree, even because that watch is not original...

As I said, I am not buying on the internet. If I buy it, the meeting will be in a jewellery shop. I just don't want to make 400km just for having a jeweler telling me it's a fake.

What are the obvious signs that it's a fake ??? (next time, I will be able to see by myself the fake ones and won't waste your time!)

one further example is that you have 48 written on the case back while the watch is only 42...

I was thinking of a mix of watches, italian wines and italian food...(real one...)

 

Bulgari has never produced this watch Calibro 303 only comes with leather strap or steel bracelet never with rubber strap and bezel. Even the dial is a fancy one.
