one of these in recent times, they are - dare I say - somewhat reminiscent of older Rolls-Royce cars of similar vintage to my eyes. Subjectively attractive is my conclusion then smile. Cheers, Filip

Subjectively attractive... How well educated it's put, my friend. ;) [nt]

Was showing this car to my children yesterday evening! Still chasing a classic car that almost could be a daily driver.
And this one popped up too.

Thx,
Dirk

That is a zero issue car, to be driven every day. With some elements of comfort such as the AC.

If it was not that big, I would have grabbed it.
If your parking is big, go, Dirk, go.
Best,
Nicolas.
PS: There is one for sale not far from where you live. Maybe that's the one you saw.

Seen some ages ago...

I have seen the one in the Göteborg museum and subsequently a handful on the road. It is an intriguing car, with the vinyl roof option trying to appeal to US sensibilities of the time, and certainly one of the racier Volvos of the post P1800 and pre C70 eras. Optically I slightly prefer its razor edged Bertone designed successor, the 780.

Thanks for bringing it up!

The 780 C is less weird looking, more conventional, maybe.

But the top class one was the C 70 first generation. That one was a big love.

Mainly the Coupé. I think they never made a nicer car than this one, since the P 1800.

Agree with you completely :) [nt]

If you are in need for some more speed just drop a BMW V10 in it :-)

Would it fit into your P1800?

Aaargh, this is a powerful tank! [nt]

I've always wondered, what a 960 with a Skyline R34 would feel like biggrin

LOL.
