I like the idea of electrified classics
such as the RBW MGB Roadster.
Retailing at about 100k £ it is built from scratch with all new components, including a new body built to original specs with original tooling, while their Jaguar E-type conversions are converted in a way that always allows the return to original specifications. The electric components are built by Continental so no back-yard improvisations.
I dream about a re-edition of this though:

What about the trend at the top end of re-manufacturing classics but with electric powertrains and NO external clues to the change? An English company named Lunaz comes to my mind: they do Rolls, Bentley, Jaguar and Range Rover conversions. Here are a few images
