From 1962. When 220 HP was enough to get some strong sensations... 300 km/h on the speedometer certainly was a bit optimistic. 10, 000 revs, that sounds promising!

10k rpm?😅 thats even higher than many modern supercars.
It should probably flat out before hitting 7k….Nonetheless a beautiful car. Coupe for me as I like my hair neat.
Modern cars lack personality, I think. Most of them, at least, as there are few exceptions. +1.

I’m almost always a coupe guy, but I think the spyder looks cleaner here. Maybe it’s the latter version’s lack of intakes behind the front wheels.
It’s close, but, gun to my head, I vote spyder.
This is one of the very rare occasions I find the spyder preferable to the coupe.
If they had kept everything else about the body identical to the spyder, only adding the top, I'd probably prefer the coupe.
But I believe this spyder has a custom, one-off body.
Although the original factory-bodied spyder is certainly beautiful, I think this re-bodied custom is spectacular.
I thought I remembered seeing it for sale on Bring a Trailer not long ago so I did a search...
I have no idea if the seller's comments about it being custom are correct but I've never seen another like it. Seller claims it was re-bodied in the '70s.
