If you stay away from the hype there are some amazing bargains to be had in the used market.
What is a bargain in the car market today? This is a serious question and i really look forward to your answer!
What i think is a bargain on the car market currently:
- Renault Spider (around 35K USD)
- Renault Clio 3.0 V6 (generation 2)
- Subaru RBZ / Toyota gt86 maybe of the newer ones
- Mercedes Benz 380E, 400 E, 420 E (500E Porsche built not anymore)
- Volvo 262C
- Citroen SM
- Alfa Romeo Montreal
- Honda S2000 (prices increasing though)
- Wiesmann (yes, the went bust, but if my memory serves me well, technology partly by BMW)...
Etc...

i had a japanese friend and he was a big fan of the brz! he explained to me in detail why, but this is sadly long time ago and dont remember anymore... he clearly preferred the brz over the gt86
this is what most of the people think, incl me, but apparently there are differences and he clearly preferred BRZ!
unfortunately no contact with him. he went back to jp....

But also the Rapide, and some DBS and Vanquish Mk.II cars as well.... As I mentioned to Iberti above, in Europe even more so than the US!
