Aston Martin meets Laurent Ferrier
This just jumped up on my timeline. My visit to the Laurent Ferrirer atelier 7 yeara ago, shortly after purchasing my Galet Traveller World. Lunch with Laurent, his son Christian and the CEO at the time in of course the most pleasant of surroundings. Some things are never to be forgotten. I now have more cars than watches (and I need to reduce the car collection also) but the LF and an Aston remain as I suspect they always will.

I have a very soft spot for LF. I remember fondly when they were first released. I felt that they broke the Internet in some way… and that led me to a few pieces in the years to come.

Thank you, I was the same when LF launched..
Then I was looking for a travel watch and pretty much tried them all. The LF won hands down for ease of use, features, comfort on wrist (especially) and looks. Also the most expensive, but those values are all important and it is justified. I will get better at posting others, but for now the Traveller World (apologies, this was in the shop stil with the protective film on, better to come):
I think if you join or contribute to the Friends Society you can - a worthwhile cause in any case
