No, I would not...
As I do not believe in major conversions or modifications and I always had a manual Porsche alongside anyway. My current manual is this:

You're right, the Porsche interior is classy!
In a similar color scheme, I have had a lot of compliments on the "Audi Exclusive" interior on my SQ8.
The saddle leather with stitching complements the charcoal metallic exterior very well.

..interior of my 1976 BMW 520. Made me "get it" as far as quality and "driver´s car" goes. Just the plain blue fabric and no extras. But a good place to be.

Parted with it mid 80`ies. The pics I came across online were less than great.
From the cars I've owned, it was the Oldsmobile 98 Touring Sedan
The blue interior was one of the best GM ever made (not my car but it was this color and style)
Tim Jackson has it now and I know he loves it.
The Jag VDP was very nice too, with lots of real wood, and big swathes of leather, fold-out picnic tables and deep Mouton wool carpets
