The superbike category is brutal and in my humble opinion like it or not the final score gets settled at the track. Still a fantastic achievement for a small team but looks like the positioning will be a challenge, being neither road or race oriented enough. I wish them all the best.
I love MCN for, from my extensive experience, thoroughly balanced reviews with bias clearly addressed if at all injected.... I had been anticipating reading and hearing first impressions about this one since it was first announced, and the totality of the conclusions doesn't surprise me. I, for one, love the puritanical design language, devoid of any 'Moto GP'-style aero trinkets, but then, like the reviewer points out, why not make it more road-friendly when it's clearly not going to 'cut the mustard' on track against the likes of Ducati and Japanese manufacturers........
Although the Manx is not my cuppa tea I do wish to see them flourish with this launch. I'd be more interested in the Atlas but will continue to hope for a new Commando. My 75' was one of my favorite all time bikes. But then again they went our of business with it so...
The whole point here is that they truly need this platform to become fairly successful in order to build momentum and continue building other bikes as well! It's the only way for them not to have this excellent opportunity end in another short-lived episode of fanciful experimentation........ Fingers crossed! 🤞😊
