be interesting to see. I wonder if it would change the views of the majority towards the 5170.
I'm very pleased to have found some like minded fans of the 5170 in this thread. I have been so accustomed to the opinions of the watch aficionados that the 5070 is the watch to opt for. I love each of the 5170 dial options and look forward to picking one up in the future.

but thought maybe, as I told Nick, that the blue is already very present in today's catalogue (5270, (5524), 5124, 5200... without counting the Nautilus line or Elipse)
The black is taken by the 5170G so I wonder what they can do next.
A white one could be great (with sandblasted finish?), a very dark lacquered black (or enameled) could fit too (even if very close to the matt G one), a slate one, a darker lacquered blue ...
Hard to guess but I hope they will surprise us.

The RG and black dial is a nice combo we can see today with the 5205R. It could indeed look really good

Definitley the 5170 is a watch which deserves much more interest
However, for the P reference, I don't know what they will do. I thought about the black dial... before they launched it for the G version this year.
So, leaves blue but I think there are already many blue dials in the colelction and as the 5070P was already blue, I wonder if it is not "too easy".
I'd like to be surprised.

Personally I can't wait till the 5170R and the 5170P are finished and the model will be discontinued. I think it will be much more appreciated after they stopped producing this model.
