With all these talks about Patek Chronographs, I couldn't resist to the temptation to post a quick picture of mine.

Of course it is a matter of taste but it is a great Patek classic (and it is becoming harder and harder to find something original to say about these 5070).

More seriously, it is clever and this is how we see how talented watchmakers in charge of the aesthetical design work.
This watch has so much interesting stuff that it really doesn"t bother me here.

For all the hype about the blue one...
and, believe me, I would love to own the blue, but I still like this one th best, and it's still relatively affordable. I think you can do a lot of different straps for this one too. And the dial color is a nice alternative

Yes, I think this is the one to get but believe me if I found one for the correct price, I would take one in any metal- ( This from an Australian whose currency has been smashed by 30% over the last 6 months!)

The WG version would be my 2nd choice after Platinum
The case material does not make such a big difference for me, it is all about the dial. I have seen some pictures of the London Exhibition version of G with salmon dial and that looks really cool.

The white is more understated, which is fine for me. But this is very subjective, indeed.
I could live very well with the white.
I still remember when I tried yours in the Parisian cafe next to your home. The wrist presence was impressive, winding fantastic and looking at the movement made me speechless.

i saw the salmon dial 5070G side-by-side the special version 5070P.
Normally I prefer 5070P to 5070G but the salmon dial is a real game changer. I do not know anymore which I like most.

curious as to the use of the chrono
Hi Nico, just curious, when i started collecting complicated watches, i gravitated from time only to annual calendars. now i have a perpetual and a world timer incoming.
I am just curious how often do you use the chrono function? after seeing the chronos, i sometimes think its a nice watch to have. The thing is i just tried the zeitwork yesterday and it looked nice also on my wrist 
I quite often use it, but it is a bit like the Eiffel tower for Parisians...
We are happy to have it, but we almost never go to visit it...

5070 G is simply GREAT : sporty and elegant at the same time, modern and classic, versatile with both dial and case in white / white gold color.
