Patek Philippe

Two wonderful Pateks arrived within a month. Here are some hastily taken pictures

The first one is the 5270R. I must confess that I also like the white gold, blue dial version so am waiting for my dealer to give me the good news. IMO, the rose gold model kind of gives the watch a vintage feel....

The watch is 41 mm in diameter and looks much better without the 'chin' of the older design...

The other is the 5170G, white dial. While some people may prefer the cleaner black dial, I am personally more drawn to the pulsometer scale, the applied numerals and the dressy layout. The other reason is that I am hoping to receive the 5370P soon so would prefer not to have a very similar looking piece.

Cannot stop marveling at the wonderful in-house Caliber CH 29-535 PS movement....

The 3 watches you're moving towards are also references I'm closely looking at.

They bring Patek Philippe in the modern era in a very nice way.

The watch is a marvel.

I must say, concerning the 5270R, that I love the new version and I will make a post about this evolution which is my favorite.

As, for the 5170G, I must say from the threads mentionning that watch on our forum recently that it is really difficult to be sure if people prefer the black dial version over the white one.

The black one is new and with a much different color (less frequent than silver of course). But personally, I prefer the silver dial too.

... 5270R looks stunning. The 5270g has a very nice blue, and feel totally different.
