I have made some pics of my 5131R. With the naked eye the enamel is smooth and vivid with deep colors. Even at a magnification of 9 times it remains intact.

How many does PP make annually for these?  They're so difficult to obtain from AD's.

but it is indeed a small number each year and they have a very long waiting list for the current reference (R).

...week or so to produce one good enamel dial, (because of the firing and cooling time needed + wasted dials, etc.) we are talking about 50 pieces or so a year.
Even if you double this figure, it would only be 100 which is still way below the number of people who want 5131 !
So the lucky owners should really enjoy their good fortunes !
