to appreciate the very refined things in life, good wine, whiskey, music, as well as watches, for at least 2 years when I looked at Nautilus models I just couldn't understand the appeal, for example if to take Genta design from the 70's, I found the AP RO much more "likable" whereas the PP was "strange" to me, well after some time I really started to love Nautilus design, have the 5712 and am getting the 5711 soon, they look very close but still different enough IMO to have both, so I am not surprised they took time to sell, the Daytona was a huge flop when it came out and for some time, look at it now...
Anyways this 3800 is great, huge congrats on THE vintage watch to get Kari, but you have other amazing watches, I prefer with see through back, but would love if they had made them from at least 71, my birth year, I would clearly try to get one from that year, luckily for my finances they didn't make them so soon... A very handsome watch. I kinda like the old nautiluses cause there smaller in diameter compared to the newer model. Perhaps this is a
38 37 mm.? Not sure thought but I know it's a very comfortable watch. Thank you for sharing your joy.
