Patek 5070J Chronograph: A reworked picture.
Usually not a fan of colored gold watches, and even less when it comes to yellow gold, but here, with this black dial, the chromatic combination is appealing.
Charm, retro touch, vintage feeling, even more than in any other color.

I tried this version once and its charm cannot be denied
Indeed a charming vintage and retro look though with a certain modernity.
However unless I would be able to do the Grand Slam with the 4 metals (which is unfortunately far to be the case), I would stick to the white metal versions.
Your pic is absolutely superb btw, the bezel shines with a wonderful reflection as if it was the sun

It's easier to find and fund as well.But the P has something about it,I tried the London exhibition a year ago on my wrist and since then I can't get over it,I will be content with the ordinary if I may say I am not being greedy,Am I?

Recall the 5070 is a direct tribute to the split seconds extra large piece that is now in the museum. That one is yellow gold with black dial. So for me, out of all 4 variants, this is the best one. Aesthetics wise I see the merits in the others, but I find this version to be the purist version!

I love the 5070. I'm sure we all have metal preference but all colours have the same classic design and beautiful heart the Beautifully finished Lemania escapement.

Those yellow gold black dial combination have something very special
It can be close to the rose gold one but really isn't.
The fact yellow gold comes back into fashion is good news, it will bring more diversity and a very appealing new atmosphere.
