These 2 are legends for those who collect amagnetic and or manual winding chronometers.
Two signatures, " amagnetic " and " Chronomètre ".
Two great brands, Patek and Jaeger.
Two great references as well.
The Geophysic has the advantage of being ALSO a Chronometer, the Patek has a better decorated movement.
Both are 35 mm big.
Both are highly desirable.

How did their amagnetic properties compare?
Geophysic 1958 tribute has 600 gauss protection (less than the modern milgauss, but I do not know what the original rolex milgauss was, but it was not 1000 gauss either!), which I believe is same as the original.
And I do not know what the Patek protection was. Can you fill in all the blanks?
Thanks, Nico... And parenthetically, are small second movements somehow easier to manufacture/service than central seconds? Do you think the Patek small seconds makes it more "dressy"? What other qualities led to your opinion that the JLC appears more rugged? The less delicate hands of the JLC?
