I recently also attended a pp perpetual event and was quite impressed with the whole evening.
Met many wonderful people and learned a thing or two. Amazing food and wine didn't compromise the evening either!

I remember having watched a video about Patek's QP complications
and it was really interesting, especially as it is not that natural to imagine on the contrary of very simple ones, adding more wheels.

In my opinion, the Perpetual Calendar is where it's at. The 3940 is my daily wearer, but I may change it out for the new 5320g ( the new watch may be easier for my old eyes to read) . The PC is such an elegant complication.

There is much to be said about the understated elegance of the 3940. After some thought, I have to agree with you. Maybe the 5320g is better in the hands of a younger person who will enjoy it "greater wrist presence" To tell the truth, I tried on the 5320g in Beverly Hills, and I still had to put my glasses on to read the day and month aperatures! Long live the 3940!
Yes it is one of the complications that is very well associated with Patek's history
About your project, this is very personal and they are very different waches. I see from your second answer that you're still thinking about it. Take your time, this model will still be available in the near future so no problem.
I think it might be a good move but it is indeed very different from your 3940 in terms of "spirit" and you must be sure that you want to make that change.
