Patek 5131P World Time. Some official pictures borrowed to the new Patek Website.
I played a bit on the size of the pictures, the colors, the contrast and the neatness, then I cropped them.
Just to focus on the work on the dial.
Is this a nice version? For sure. I for one, was waiting for a platinum ( so called king of all metals ) version of this enameled world time.
As Joe pointed it out, this is a cold version, compared to the others. But combined to the platinum case, it is very much my taste.
Now, the big issues are:
- You have as much chances to get one than to win the lottery.
- The bracelet, made in platinum, whose style let me cold, and not in a positive way. I find it too outdated, truth to be told, but this is just the opinion of someone who is not a big bracelet fan.
Ok, let's see these pictures, now. Enough blabla...
Just one word about the new Patek website. The good thing is that you can now more easily play with pictures. If only the resolution was higher!

No need to change between bracelet and strap
I prefer a Croc/Alligator Strap with a deployment for most of my watches. The platinum bracelet on the 5131/1P-001, however, is a great change of pace and my guess is that most owners will not want to swap it out. It's likely they'll feel as I do ... that "all metal" perfectly compliments the arctic dial.
That's a feeling you share with our own Baron. If I am gifted this watch I promise I will not remove the bracelet. :))) [nt]

The 5960A white dial is growing on me fast. Many have swapped out the steel bracelet. I know this has been covered before, but if the case and lug dimensions are the same as the 5960P/G/R/A then couldn't a transitional Patek croc band work for the 5960A like this 5131P? There must be something different as I've yet to see this combo. Apologies for crossing references.

If it were the only watch I owned ...
... I might consider swapping out the bracelet for a strap? Even with a link or two removed my watch weighs over 200 grams. While it feels great to experience the heft of this watch for an evening (you really know you're wearing something of significance), ... day after day I admit might be a challenge.
I can imagine the feeling is remarkable on the wirst and like you said you have other versions so

I like the change of pace that the Platinum version offers in this reference
I would not say that any particular metal is superior to the others. To me it all depends on each individual's preferences with respect to color and location. Platinum might not be very attractive to someone who live in South America?
