When you look at the World Time references created by Patek, there are some links between all these references.
For example, an obvious link between the 1415 and the 5130 can be seen when you compare the hands.

As for the 2523, there are two links. The guilloché of the dial makes you think of the one you have in the 5110:

Two other links, which are less evident, but still...
The hands of the 5230, and the case, both in a modern style.
The lugs are less angular on the 5230, and the hour hand less... romantic?
Another thing I noticed is about the proportions of the dial.
The 2523 has a dial dedicated to time which is very centered and small... Same for the 5130, even more evident for the 5575:

This is the very interesting thing with some brands which have a patrimony. You often, not to say always, see links and sources of inspiration between Past and Present.
